In Thursday's league match, the host Boston Latin Academy Dragons basketball squad scored a big 70-45 win over the East Boston Jets.
The Dragons (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Burke (Dorchester, MA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Burke walloped Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA), 96-58, in a non-league test.
The Jets now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host South Shore Vo-Tech for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. East Boston will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 45-28 non-league win over Norfolk County Agricultural (Walpole, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-6.
