The Lakeville North Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Burnsville Blaze to 59 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Lakeville North will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-49 league loss to Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-11.
The Blaze (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish enter the AAAA Section 3 match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Rosemount overcame Eastview (Apple Valley, MN), 53-47, in a league match.
