With the victory, Calhoun improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Central (Hayneville, AL) to play the Lions in a 1A Area 5 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Central lost 61-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilcox Central (Camden, AL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) in a 2A Area 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Goshen will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 69-50 league win over Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL).
