The Curtis Vikings basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Sumner Spartans to 46 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellarmine Prep for a 4A South Puget Sound - North contest on Saturday, January 21. Curtis will meet a Lions team coming off a 66-43 non-league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA). The Lions record now stands at 8-10.
The Spartans (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Puyallup (Puyallup, WA). The Vikings enter the 4A South Puget Sound - North contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Puyallup triumphed over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA), 60-53, in a league contest.
