Nebraska High School Basketball - Dorchester ripped by Shelby-Rising City

The Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Dorchester Longhorns to 31 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giltner for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Shelby-Rising City will meet a Hornets team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 3-8.

The Longhorns (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, McCool Junction was crushed by Osceola (Osceola, NE), 63-37, in a non-league bout.
