The East Allegheny Wild Cats basketball team (North Versailles, PA), dropped 57-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem Center for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Monessen will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 90-30 league loss to Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-14.
The Wild Cats (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Freeport dropped by Armstrong (Kittanning, PA), 60-43, in a non-league battle.
