In Thursday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Fairfield Union Falcons (Lancaster, OH), by a count of 54-49.
The Scotties (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against New Lexington (New Lexington, OH). The Panthers go into the Muskingum Valley outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, New Lexington held off Coshocton (Coshocton, OH), 65-39, in a league outing.
