Illinois High School Basketball - Freeburg tops Red Bud

January 19, 2023: Red Bud, IL 62278

Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL), 56-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Freeburg upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Midgets travel to Trico (Campbell Hill, IL) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 3-17.

Next up, the Musketeers play the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Red Bud will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
