In Thursday's league outing, the Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Golden West Trailblazers (Visalia, CA), by a margin of 67-66.

The Rangers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA). The Pioneers go into the East Yosemite outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Mt. Whitney was tipped by Monache (Porterville, CA), 53-47, in a league outing.

The Trailblazers now have a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Diamante for a East Yosemite match on Wednesday, January 25. Golden West will meet a Miners team coming off a 44-38 league loss to Porterville (Porterville, CA). The Miners record now stands at 13-7.
