Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sun Valley nips Great Valley

Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), 54-47 in a league bout.
With the victory, Sun Valley upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to play the Hornets in a Ches-Mont - American bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Oxford lost 68-36 in their recent non-league bout against Chichester (Boothwyn, PA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Great Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 73-50 league loss to Chester (Chester, PA).
