The Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors basketball team (Cuba, NM), was toppled 60-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM)
The Wolves now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ramah for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Hozho Academy will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 66-54 league loss to To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-12.
The Dine Warriors (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM). The Warriors come into the A District 1 battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Pine Hill beat Northwest (Shiprock, NM), 72-18, in a league battle.
