Jackson Timberwolves (Mill Creek, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA), 82-81 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jackson upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Stadium (Tacoma, WA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Stadium lost 67-61 in their recent league bout against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA)

Next up, the Marauders play the Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA) in a 4A Wesco bout, on Friday, January 27. Mariner will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
