Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Juniata fells Newport

Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), 46-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Juniata upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Indians host Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA) to clash with the WolfPack in a Tri-Valley bout on Monday, January 23. The WolfPack go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy lost 71-56 in their recent league bout against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Harrisburg Christian (Harrisburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
