New Jersey High School Basketball - Lakewood ripped by Monmouth Regional

The Monmouth Regional Falcons basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Lakewood Piners to 32 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Branch for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Monmouth Regional will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-11.
The Piners (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Griffins enter the Shore C - South contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Donovan Catholic triumphed over Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
