The Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ), 71-50 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Ramapo walloped Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 67-56, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a Mountain Valley - Mountain test on Saturday, January 21. Union Catholic will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 7-4.
