Illinois High School Basketball - Litchfield knocked off by Pana

The Pana Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Litchfield Purple Panthers to 35 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Father McGivney Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Pana will battle a Griffins team coming off a 67-36 non-league win over Ramsey (Ramsey, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 10-9.

The Purple Panthers (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ramsey (Ramsey, IL). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Ramsey was defeated by Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL), 67-36, in a non-league contest.
