WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Man Hillbillies (Man, WV), 85-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, WestSide upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Renegades travel to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV) to play the Miners in a Coalfield AA bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Mingo Central lost 83-42 in their recent league bout against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV)

Next up, the Hillbillies play the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Man will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 53-51 non-league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV).
