Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), 44-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles host Traverse City Christian (Traverse City, MI) to play the Sabres in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Traverse City Christian won 56-28 in their recent non-league bout against Leland (Leland, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pentwater Falcons (Pentwater, MI) in a West Michigan D bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Mesick will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
