In Thursday's league outing, the Melstone Broncs (Melstone, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northern Cheyenne Tribal Eagles (Busby, MT), by a margin of 71-33.
The Broncs (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Broadview/Lavina (Lavina, MT). The Pirates go into the C District 5 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Broadview/Lavina was trounced by Harlowton/Ryegate (Harlowton, MT), 56-45, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Reed Point/Rapelje for a C District 5 outing on Saturday, January 21. Northern Cheyenne Tribal will clash with a Renegades squad coming off a 70-32 league loss to Broadview/Lavina (Lavina, MT). The Renegades record now stands at 1-11.
