The Santiago Sharks basketball team (Corona, CA), was toppled 69-51 in Thursday's league battle with the host Norco Cougars (Norco, CA)
The Cougars now possess a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corona for a Big VIII battle on Tuesday, January 24. Norco will confront a Panthers team coming off a 75-19 league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-12.
The Sharks (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Corona, CA). The Huskies come into the Big VIII battle with a 20-3 record. In their last battle, Centennial beat Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA), 64-52, in a non-league battle.
