North Carolina High School Basketball - North Johnston can't hold off Princeton

The North Johnston Panthers basketball team (Kenly, NC), was nudged 69-65 in Thursday's league battle with the host Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC)

The Bulldogs now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beddingfield for a 2A Conference 8 battle on Friday, January 20. Princeton will battle a Bruins team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 4-11.

The Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors come into the 2A Conference 8 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Eastern Wayne edged Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 50-48, in a league battle.
