The Northlake Christian Wolverines basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Pearl River Rebels to 48 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena College and Career Academy for a 2A District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Northlake Christian will meet a Hawks team coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.

The Rebels (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Wolves enter the 4A District 8 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Loranger was nudged by Doyle (Livingston, LA), 64-43, in a non-league contest.
