Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 8-5. New Providence lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Delbarton Green Wave (Morristown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Oratory Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 58-40 league win over Randolph (Randolph, NJ).
