Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO), 45-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Berthoud upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Hawks in a bout on Saturday, January 21. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-0. SkyView Academy won 39-29 in their recent league bout against Dawson School (Lafayette, CO)

Next up, the Cougars play the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO) in a bout, on Saturday, January 21. Resurrection Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 51-36 league win over Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO).
