Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), 58-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Doherty upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO) to play the Trojans in a bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Fountain-Fort Carson won 56-37 in their recent non-league bout against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)

Next up, the Rams play the Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Rampart will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
