The Absegami Braves basketball team (Galloway, NJ), was nudged 33-31 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ)
The Mustangs now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middle Township for a non-league battle on Monday, January 23. Mainland Regional will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-35 non-league win over Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.
The Braves (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Medford Tech (Medford, NJ). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Medford Tech edged Willingboro (Willingboro, NJ), 50-22, in a league battle.
