Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ), 45-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Academy of St. Elizabeth upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Panthers host Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ) to play the Tigers in a Northwest Jersey - Independence bout on Saturday, January 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Hackettstown won 56-36 in their recent non-league bout against North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ)

Next up, the Tigers play the Whippany Park Wildcats (Whippany, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 47-17 league loss to Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ).
