The Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) basketball knocked off the host Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN), 62-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Rebels (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson go into the AAAA Section 5 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Maple Grove notched a victory over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 65-18, in a non-league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a AAAA Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 24. Anoka will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-52 league win over Andover (Andover, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 10-7.
