The Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers (Augusta, GA), 28-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Predators (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Rebels go into the AA Region 3 test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Strom Thurmond was tipped by Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC), 48-19, in a league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Edmund Burke Academy for a GIAA AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 24. Augusta Prep Day will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-8.
