Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) and the host Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR), saw Riverside's basketball squad knock off Bay by a count of 44-27.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Rector (Rector, AR) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
