The Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI) basketball knocked off the host Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI), 48-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bears (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples go into the Oakland - Blue test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Seaholm notched a victory over Adams (Rochester, MI), 28-26, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Farmington for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Harper Woods will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 40-21 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 12-0.
