Utah High School Basketball - Bountiful tops Viewmont

January 19, 2023: Bountiful, UT 84010

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bountiful RedHawks (Bountiful, UT) and the visiting Viewmont Vikings (Bountiful, UT), saw Bountiful's basketball squad knock off Viewmont by a tally of 59-42.

With the victory, Bountiful improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The RedHawks host Woods Cross (Woods Cross, UT) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Woods Cross lost 43-34 in their recent league challenge against Northridge (Layton, UT)

Next up, the Vikings play the Bonneville Lakers (Washington Terrace, UT) in a 5A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Viewmont will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 66-37 league loss to Box Elder (Brigham City, UT).
