The Brown County Hornets basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Rushville-Industry Rockets to 11 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Hill/Western for a Western Illinois Valley contest on Monday, January 23. Brown County will meet a Wolves team coming off a 35-31 league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 8-15.

The Rockets (2-24) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Raiders enter the West Central - North contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Quincy Notre Dame triumphed over Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 67-51, in a non-league contest.
