The Oakcrest Falcons basketball team (Mays Landing, NJ), was toppled 40-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ)
The Chiefs now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeton for a Cape/Atlantic - West battle on Wednesday, January 25. Buena will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-27 non-league win over Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-3.
The Falcons (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record.
