North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International trounced by Queen's Grant

January 19, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

The Queen's Grant Stallions routed the host Carolina International Comets basketball team by a final score of 64-28 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Stallions face the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 23. Queen's Grant will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 4-15 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).

With the defeat, Carolina International moves to 1-11 on the year. The Comets travel to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC) to face the Mariners in a non-league game on Friday, January 20. The Mariners enter the game with a record of 4-7. Jackson Day lost 39-25 in their recent league game against Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC)
