In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), by a count of 43-26.
The Bears (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Tigers go into the 2A District 3 outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Capitan defeated Mountainair (Mountainair, NM), 55-22, in a non-league outing.
