The Carson City-Crystal Eagles basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Merrill Vandals to 19 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestaburg for a Mid-State contest on Tuesday, January 24. Carson City-Crystal will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 55-46 league win over Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-9.
The Vandals (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Mid-State contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, St. Charles ran past Coleman (Coleman, MI), 42-20, in a league contest.
