The Jordan-Matthews Jets basketball team (Siler City, NC), was overwhelmed 67-28 in Thursday's league battle with the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC)
The Bears now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a 1A/2A Conference 14 battle on Friday, January 20. Chatham Central will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 44-26 league loss to Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-10.
The Jets (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs come into the 1A/2A Conference 14 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, North Moore was overwhelmed by Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC), 61-14, in a league battle.
