    • Ohio High School Basketball - Chippewa overwhelms Northwestern

    January 19, 2023: West Salem, OH 44287

    Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) and the host Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), saw Chippewa's basketball squad wallop Northwestern by a tally of 60-27.

    With the victory, Chippewa improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Chipps travel to Woodridge (Peninsula, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Woodridge won 69-34 in their recent league challenge against Springfield (Akron, OH)

    Next up, the Huskies play the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a Wayne County challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
