Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) and the host East Tartans (Sciotoville, OH), saw Clay's basketball squad overcome East by a tally of 43-23.

With the victory, Clay improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Eastern (Beaver, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Eastern lost 59-30 in their recent league challenge against Valley (Lucasville, OH)

Next up, the Tartans confront the Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) in a Southern Ohio I challenge, on Thursday, January 26. East will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
