Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH), 35-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Clay upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH) to play the Eagles in a Three Rivers bout on Monday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Notre Dame Academy lost 44-39 in their recent league bout against St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Lima Senior will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Presidents go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 33-27 league win over Highland (Marengo, OH).
