Michigan High School Basketball - Dakota winner over L'Anse Creuse North

The Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) basketball felled the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI), 59-39 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Big Reds go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Port Huron thwarted Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI), 32-25, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Grosse Pointe North for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. L'Anse Creuse North will encounter a Norsemen squad coming off a 47-46 league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 11-2.
