New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dassel-Cokato Chargers (Cokato, MN), 65-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New London-Spicer upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Paynesville (Paynesville, MN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AA Section 3 bout on Monday, January 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Paynesville lost 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN)

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) in a AAA Section 8 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Dassel-Cokato will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
