The Deerfield Demons (Deerfield, WI) basketball knocked off the host Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (Palmyra, WI), 61-48 in Thursday's league test.
The Demons (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Luther Prep (Watertown, WI). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Luther Prep notched a victory over Lodi (Lodi, WI), 58-54, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy for a Trailways - South test on Tuesday, January 24.
