In Thursday's league outing, the Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA), by a margin of 43-13.

The Pumas (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA). The White Tigers go into the Valley outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Vaughn was trounced by Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA), 74-24, in a non-league outing.

The Falcons now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a Valley outing on Monday, January 23. East Valley will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 48-9 league loss to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-9.
