The Heartland Christian Lions basketball team (Columbiana, OH), was overwhelmed 59-26 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH)
The Wildcats now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambridge for a Buckeye 8 battle on Saturday, January 21. Edison will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 57-38 non-league loss to Maysville (Zanesville, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-17.
The Lions (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Badger (Kinsman, OH). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Badger trounced St. John (Ashtabula, OH), 58-35, in a league battle.
