Alabama High School Basketball - Marbury trounces Elmore County

The Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL) basketball crushed the host Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL), 60-27 in Thursday's league test.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Autaugaville (Autaugaville, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Autaugaville was trounced by Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL), 48-41, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Holtville for a 5A Area 6 test on Friday, January 20. Elmore County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Isabella (Maplesville, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-3.
