The Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Mott Marauders to 17 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamphere for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Fitzgerald will battle a Rams team coming off a 29-27 league loss to Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI). The Rams record now stands at 7-5.

The Marauders (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI). The Dragons come into the Macomb Area - Silver contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Clintondale triumphed over Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI), 31-18, in a league contest.
