New Jersey High School Basketball - Oak Knoll can't hold off Governor Livingston

The Governor Livingston Highlanders basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Oak Knoll Royals to 41 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Highlanders now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roxbury for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Governor Livingston will battle a Gaels team coming off a 41-22 league loss to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 0-8.
The Royals (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Newark Academy edged Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ), 34-25, in a non-league contest.
