With the victory, John Battle improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to confront the Generals in a Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Lee lost 73-25 in their recent league challenge against Union (Appalachia, VA)

Next up, the Black Raiders confront the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Friday, January 20. J.I. Burton will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 45-22 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA).
